Art & Inspiration my mistress

my girlfriend is an artist when shes not working or being a mom to our 5 kids. she is a very tolerant of my new found hobby but most of the time calls the 54 my 'mistress'....but this something she whipped up for me, so i thought i would share

it is wood grain, i believe this piece is birch. she does the majority of her art on wood.

I showed this to my daughter who is a grammer school art teacher and asked her to do one for me. I didn't get a positive reply but she and I both are very impressed.

yes, five kids....two teens...15 & 13, then 5, 6 & 7 yr olds...plus two dogs and one snake, its never dull
