Still haven't made it! used to be working in WA. in August, last two years I've been too damn broke!!! talk to Elpolacko on Wed. and he was in Grants NM. on his way then, should be there now! You guys all have fun now!
I should go....but my son's birthday is tomorrow. I think next year I will take him to the HAMB drags for his birthday.
I got the AC charged in the bel air for the first time in 7 years! Freeze 12 baby. if it will not leak out I'll be set!!!!
last year was the cats ***!! but, cant make it this year ill be looking at all the pics though! there better be lots of'em too!
High of 94* and partly cloudy is what it says right now. Rolling out about 8:00 in the morning should be there by noon. Don't party too hard tonight guys.
2009 wasn't so good. Just got too big and too carshowy, most of the ppl with numbers shoepolished on never ran once. Plus I blew trans in my 60 Buick only 15mi into the trip, so had to limp in in the family minivan. This year should be interesting, I know I'll be there again, not missed one yet.
well, it was the cats *** for me! my first year and met alot of good people, had a *****in good time too! yeah, the guys i went with said it was ****ty last year too but, still fun!
Crazy maybe, but ****ty? I don't think so. I'm curious to see what happens tomorrow with a few more restraints on the entries.
I love my wife. We just wrapped up a month long marathon of spoiling my daughter rotten before her 17th birthday and return to her mom for the start of her Sr. year at school on Monday. I saw this on the Journal and looked at my wife. "The Drags are in Joplin tomorrow. Wanna go?" She says "How are we gonna get there in time?" Me says "It's only 10 hours. We could be there by dawn, get a couple hours sleep in the car..." She says "Can we afford it?" This is where I lost track of who was playing who.... We'll see you next year fellas.
Rumor is the SFCC will be there in full force next year..... have a good time, looking forward to next year
