Picked up some used Cragars last week and a set of new tires today for the 62.
Also got the body work just about finished on the main body now too. A little more blocking and i can shoot the sealer and get on to the other parts.
I painted the roof already and had the front and back windows installed too, so i guess it's coming together...slowly.
Just thought i would kill time and throw up a post.

I like what I see, digging the narrow whites and cragars and your fire wall color. Is that ride hieght? Hows it set up?

Good score on clean original Cragars. They look good on that...but I am biased because those age cars were all around at my high school in the 60s...and most kids WISHED they had mags.;)

that firewall color brings back memories too.

Thanks guys. the colors are original to the car, Ermine white and Twilight Blue met. I was gonna shoot it all white, but really dug the blue so changed my plans.
I bagged it with a kit from kustombuilder. it's dropped in the pics, so ride height will be a up a bit.
This is up all the way..

Haha! thanks for the blessing..i know some guys like that look, but to me they have never fit together..just don't like the way they look at all.

The tires are Cooper Trendsetters. fronts are 205-75-14 rear are 215-75-14. nothing special, but they are a nice tire. i sell a lot of them where i work.
    Thanks guys,

    Tony

tire size is perfect. (same as i had on the wagon).. can;t wait to see this one done. you will need a color bar for the dash and a 8 track (make your IPOD plug into it)..

Yeah, i gotta agree with Dirty..highly unlikely either of those will end up in my possession
i do have an underdash 8 track unit though :D

Mat, just shoot me a note when you think you will be around. You're welcome to stop by anytime. Trade for a 63? well, it would have to be a real good one :)

    Thanks guys.
