Gene Winfield went to the ER this morning

stubborn old man, doesn't want to go to the hospital,........... .wait a minute, sounds like me, except older. Gene I hope you feel better, I hate hospitals and doctors too. I should have gone when I broke my big toe and the joint it attaches too, now my foot is permanently messed up. sometimes you just have to go. I don't know which is worse, the 20 needles they stick in you to drain your blood like vampires, or the big needle they stick in your wallet that drains money. went a couple of years ago, dizzy and hands were numb, one EKG, a bunch of needle sticks and tests, stand up and sit down like a trained monkey for them, and four bags of IV fluids, walk out 10,000 dollars lighter

Thankfully he is OK, but does this mean he was spraying a red candy?

 

We were surprised by Gene last Sunday at Pebble Beach. Turned around and there he is checking out the Carrillo roadster. Probably one of the very few who was actually around the Salt in 1951!

 

Hope you have a speedy recovery, so you can get back at the things you love to do.......

Glad to hear that he doing better after the paint in the eye deal. It does serve as a reminder to all of us that we maybe aren't as tough as we think we are and sometimes a timely trip to the emergency room or Doc in the box if there is one to get things taken care of would be the prudent thing to do.

 

Or, swimming goggles!! Glad to know he's OK!
