Grille or NO Grille

Going to paint the rad black.

 

Grill and cutout the opening.

 

Could you put the grille surround on, and what would have been the hood bar, but without the mesh part? I like the cutouts, looks racy that way, but also kinda plain. I'd like to see it with just the surround on it, would help define the opening without adding too much.

Car sits nice, I like the scoop.

Maybe modify the grill some or paint it,looks lost without the grill at all.

 

yep, or paint behind the opening black depending on how much air flow is needed

 

Wow... I know I'm no help, but both ways look great! I think I'd go with the grill though and remove it every few months just for fun.

 

Or maybe paint the area behind the grille black as well... Lookin good no matter how you do it...IMO

i'd put the grill and cut own the backing, whats the deal with the headlights? are they mounted from behind? wheres the bezels?

 

Grille without the horizontal slats and cut out the opening!

you cant go wrong whichever way you go , but, what about just punching a few more holes in it (say 4 more per side) and leave be

+ 1 on what squablow said. It would look mean with the grill surround only to define the grill area, then the cut outs make it racy. Try it if possible.

i hate being the same as everyone else, but id have to say grill as well.
very cool car.

 

I had a flip front mounted on a '55 Chevy years ago and it definitely looked better with a grille.
