Hey guys, I'm still kicking myself for missing the Rumbler's show last weekend in Brooklyn NY. I'm a painter/sculpure with a p***ion for vintage. Unfortunatly my art isn't auto based so I doubt it'll make the Friday night art show. I've been lurking here for years and drool over the great trad rides you guys have, but without a rod or custom of my own, I've had little to say. I did fully restore and modify a 72 mgb, but that wont cut it here. - though it is fun blasting throught NYC in it. I have a 1952 Ford flatty with tripple 94's that I've been building with hopes of dropping it into a 29 coupe, but with two small kids I'm thinking a custom sedan might be a better option. SOOOOO... as chance might have it, a local shop has a 1954 Chevy 4 door sitting under a tree. Strait six, three on the tree and those pretty green tinted windows keep calling me. I'm told it ran tree years ago, but I need a closer look. Since I was planning a Ford build, all my reseach went there, and I know nothing about this car. If any of you kind Chevy custom gods would care to give me some pointers and red flags, you'd be doing me a solid. My plans for it?!? Dop it, shave it, pin stipe it and drive the livin hell out of it. Nothin shiny hear folks. Anyway, thanks! Carl
