Ok, I probably don't deserve to look at the pictures since I wasn't at the HAMB Drags this year, although this was the first one that I missed since day one. I hate missing it but I had to go to my daughters tournament instead. I've been told by a bunch of guys about a 36 Ford phaeton pulling an altered car on a trailer. Does anyone have any pictures of it? This would sure make me feel better for missing the drags... Oh, my daughter (Kacy) won 1st place. Yaah!! Thanks in advance, Happy Trails, Mick
I saw it at the Swap Meet as well... very cool, didn't get a picture though. I was having to much fun to get near as many pics as in years past.
I saw them leaving, but didn't get a pic. I believe it was the killer orange roadster they had in tow.
Sorry Mick, saw the rig and it was a sweet combo but no pics. No one got apic, maybe it was a mirage! Missed you this year buddy! We could have visited awhile as the tub stayed home due to funds being a bit tight.
I'm glad to hear that you couldn't find a picture either I thought that I was losing my HAMB skills.... I almost headed that way 10 times on Friday but it was just going to cause problems getting home in time to leave for the Tournament. I guess that I was being mature. Ha, ha, ha,.. I missed a guys, the sad thing is next year I'll be back at the tournament, but after that it will be wide open look out 2012. Everyone knows that the letter "K" is kooler then "C". The other reason is I'm an Okie and can't spall wurth a Krap.... LOL!! Happy Trails, Mick
Dude....whilst I wasn't there either....all I can add is.... You did the right thing.... That's where it's at right there...being at "major" kids events won't last forever...fore ya know it she'll fly the coop... Soon as life quits getting in the way I gotta get out to Bonneville and The HAMB Drags.
Thanks guys for the posting the pictures. Florida to Bonneville to Mokan and back home. Wow! It would be kool to hear about his road trip. Happy Trails, Mick
i don't recall the ***le, but he does have a thread going on his trip to b-ville, nationals, and the hamb drags. i know there's pics on some threads. one of the post has a pic of a hubcap that was on the p*** side of his trailer, hamb drags 2010 or bust. sharpen your search skills and you will find it young jedi
Hi Mick, I just got home very early this morning, after a long day yesterday doing Route 66 across Oklahoma and shooting about 80 to 100 photos there.. Did a quick check over the 765 photos that I clicked off at the Drags, but no photos of the tow car. Just 2 of the roadster so far... see attached. Will be posting photos to PBase for next few days.. duane (NM Sandrail)
Thanks Ryno I mean Obe1HAMBnobe I think that I spelled that wrong..... Kool I can't wait to check out the pics. I understand why the Tow vehicle go over looked because the roadster is bad *** and it deserves a lot of coverage. Thanks in advance looking forward to your post. Happy Trails, Mick
Hey Mick- you missed seeing me run down the strip in my old truck. If you have not read it yet read my deal about *** waxing. Later, ****
i think i might have it . I was at the corner with a parts booth .i'll look .i was one of the last to leave . I have not posted any of mine . OOOOOOPS....
IS the 36 still running a flathead? Cool tow rig no doubt. looks like a whole lot of fun before you even get the car unloaded.
I about shat myself when I saw the 36 Anyone get a pic of Brians(Kingch***is) Rivi pulling th Ghost and another ch***is on top?
I took this shot at the Springfield swap meet. Later when I saw the rig again, looked like they had added a couple of go karts onto the trailer. Swap meet purchases I would guess.
Whooa! Thanks for finding that pic. That is just way too kool! Now I can imagine what it would look like running down the road. I'v never really been into to drag racing (I'm a Kustom guy) but the HAMB Drags is one of my favorite events of the year because of the social thing........... Ok I need your help Why would I want to read about your story on "*** Waxing"? LOL! I'm praying that the post is without pictures.. check it out. Thanks again guys for posting the pics.. Happy Trails, Mick
