    I think a lot of the late 50's & early 60's factory Mopar stuff looks custom. Here's my '61 Imperial LeBaron:

    WOW! that was impressive- or was it staged. My neighbor has a 59 Imperial. It has a stainlss steal roof with swing out bucket seats.

    I vote for the 1956-57 Lincoln Mark II. I think that I remember reading somewhere that the designers were influenced by the custom builders of the time, and Z'ed and channeled the frame to get the real long, low and bad stance. I think that it worked on that level. I always thought they were cool and were a departure from the usual stuff coming out of Detroit.

    I think any of the mid to late 50's Caddy's look pretty darn good from the factory. Also I think one of the coolest cars right out of the factory from the late 50's was the El Morocco

    The "El Morocco" was not a "Factory Custom" but it was a custom car that was a '57 Chevy made to look like a Caddy.
