Looks great. I didn't see anywhere were you mentioned how much you chopped it. I have a 37 chev cab that will get chopped. I like the idea of keeping the rear window full size. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for posting.
DAMN!! Love the whole project. The frame is great looking. Love nailheads. The color combo looks awesome. Love truck cab rods like your's. It has the right look.
Good looking truck and one of the best chops I have seen on one of that model. Most guys try to overdo it and get it wrong. Looks like you have a good eye for seeing things out and getting them right.
That's coming along great. Love the look of the nailhead, impressive to say the least. Good luck with the rest of the build, watching this one for sure!
Been a little busy but I managed to get some front end work done today. I'll be running air bags on a straight axle so I fabricated a front cross member to hold the bags. I cut out half circles in the front portion of the frame and boxed them in. This will give the bags enough room so they dont rub. Still in the rough stages. .
Its been awhile but I was able to get some workk done on the rod. Custom cross member with air bags hidden. Four link rear is under way.
Dropped the engine in to mock up the motor mounts. Sits a little to low here. Will raise it so the pan is above the scrub line.
Thanks, just picked up a transmission and will be fabricating a x-memeber for the frame this weekend.
Well shes finally a roller! Hard to believe its been two years since I purchased the cab. Still a lot of work ahead of me.
