Well another post from another new member. I signed up a while ago and now Im getting around to posting in the HAMB. I have made the leap and have put my '50 chevy on stands and have started to tear her apart. Plans are calling for an updated interior to include a custom center console, some body work including rust repair, detailing the motor, a carson top (my girls were not big fans at freeway speeds), and updating the suspension and brake systems. We will see about paint or just primer for now. I bought the car around 4 years ago and it was well on its way to being a nice custom. I wrenched on it in the winters and drove it the other 3/4 of the year, but Im ready to make good on all the ideas I have for it. My estimate is 12 months but I will stay realistic and say 18 months. I did the same thing with my last project a '57 210 wagon, and I was right on time, 6 months behind...... Enough of this I look forward to talking and cruising with you all real soon.
