Not really event coverage yet, but I figured I'd shoot this out under that heading. Anyways, a friend of mine, Joe Arcuri, was diagnosed with Leukemia recently... on the same day his first son was born. Joe has done a lot of design work with Dave Tucci, and I worked with him quite a bit during the Sinuous '35 Ford build. Dave has organized a cruise to help the family with some of their medical bills. Here is some more info from the Facebook page: Come join us on a cruise to Sylvan Beach, Saturday September 11th at 10:30 am. We'll start at my shop, Tucci Hot Rods in Marcy NY (google map) and cruise to Sylvan Beach for lunch and live music. $20 per person (kids under 16 free). It will be a great time and will benefit a good friend of mine and his family during this difficult time. If you can't attend the cruise but would still like to contribute, you can send a donation to us at 9755 River Road, Marcy NY 13403. Please make checks payable to Joe and Noelle Arcuri. I've also attached a poster with some more background. Thanks for the opportunity to post this. dw
