    Hello-

    Not actually a "lot purcghase"...I just was going to buy some from the mfr., to resell, since peopl always say they are looking for them.

    I was thinking 3-4, see how they do...but wanted to mention it here and see the response.
    Post here or by PM, still...thanks!

    ======
    They look like the one on the red Ranchero in post #13 in this thread:

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314460&highlight=visor+falcon
    (same brand). Primered.
    ======
    I have been working on sourcing some hard-to-find items, gearing up to resell them in the late Summer.

    1=Falcon venetians from Australia,
    2=Falcon Solid outside sunvisors and
    2=mesh metal ones are some more. (Also from australia).

    I have had the information from the manufacturer, to buy the visors for a long time, but keep putting it off - theyre are a pain to get here.
    (Even before the economy dropped, and the exchange rate got worse).

    I wasn't too sure about the Falcon visors, on here. They are availble, brand new in Australia and they had a good shape to them.

    I think meybe people are hesitant to buy one from Australia for the same reason I was about buying one, initially...
    =EXPENSIVE SHIPPING (almost $100. for (1), last I knew)...+
    =possible damage.
    =The sellers never say anything about them, like whether you have to drill holes.
    =I never knew anyone that bought one, are they good?
    ======
    Now I have talked to someone in the USA who bought the brand I want to resell here:
    =they clamp on the drip rails, at the front. (No hole for a center bracket. :)
    =apprently they work well, and look pretty good.

    ======
    ~~Other stuff I can have shipped over more easily, but I wanted to mention the visors here.
    Just to be clear...
    I don't want to organize a "group buy", and
    I don't want anything from anyone, or a definite "order".

    ~~I know money is tighter than a few months ago, and I wondered how many people would actually like to buy one of these Australian reproductions, if it were "easy".

    If 4,5,6 people think they are definitely interested, I'll put some $ into a small order for the Falcon visors. In Maybe August.
    Then they'd be available for sale.
    ======
    I will tell you, you CAN get them from A couple of Australian dealers.

    There are some well-known Aussie sorces.
    (One sells venetians, visors, etc and sells on US ebay, too...but they still have to ship$ from Asustralia).

    They sell them for $270.AUD which today on www.xe.com is a little less than $225. US Dollars. Plus shipping.
    +I THINK it's about $100. US $ to get one over here. Maybe a little less.

    By the time I buy say, 4 at wholesale from the mfr., then ship them together for 30%-40% of what it costs to send (1), I can sell them for about $275. US and with domestic shipping...you'd be in it a little less than buying from autralia, I'm thinking.

    So about them same $, just easier.

    Let me know on here if anyone wants them, I'll get some in stock in a few weeks then! Thanks.

    Apparently these will fit: ( 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 ):
    falcon, Rachero Falcon Squire station wagon , the Futura of course...etc.
