What is a good time to roll in to town on Friday?? I've always wanted to cruise on over and check it out....finally it looks like I'll have the chance next week.
That's what I kinda figured. I'll get there early, the wife will be out of town so I can be there whenever I want.

That Morrie van looks so cool Kev, pitty that if someone downunder in your homeland build one like that they wouldn't be welcome at most rod runs because it just isn't American is it? Sad that NZ rodders are abit like that, makes one want to pack everything into a container and move to the USA.
I love Santa Paula! Yesterday (Saturday)- we got the urge for a cruise & drove 100 miles to the airport for lunch. They made the mistake of leaving one of the gates open so we helped ourselves to access. As soon as we pulled in- a guy on a cart asked if we were there for the radio/plane gathering. Uhhhhhhhhhhh- hell yea. He pointed the way. We rounded a corner & one of the hangers was open. We pulled up to look at the planes- they all came over to look at our cars. Mutual admiration club! This is less than 5 minutes after pulling in. Me on phone telling the wife where we are. They were having a big BBQ & invited us to stay. Too bad we just ate! I love hanging around airports. I'd love to drive up for a cruise or show.
The S.P. Airport is open for viewing on the first Sunday of the month. Lots of hangars display STUFF. Sometimes car clubs diplay cars also.
