I'v seen the other 64-65 Comet thread and it seems to have become a chat forum between fellows with new-nostalgia style Comets. I'd like to get some photos and info on the REAL '64 A/FX cars. Did the Shrewsberry car become the Chrisman fuel car? Is the Guy Stewart and the Moyer car the same one? Does anyone have pics of the Spencer L.M. car before it became the "Shake, Rattle, and Roll " car? There are several other ones that I've never seen pictures of. Anyone have any old pics? Thanks. There is alot of chatter on the 64/65 Comet thread because we are trying to keep it alive. There are tons of pictures and info on the 64 Comets on there. You need to browse thru it as most of the info you are looking for has been covered. JMO,ROY.

The other thread has strayed a bit off topic, but as 65COMET said, it keeps it alive and new stuff pops up every now and then. Fact is there just isn't that much info. and pics out there...mainly because there were so few of those cars I guess.

Just when I think the Thunderbolt thread is dead, something new pops up.

    Syl,

This seller on Ebay has a picture of the old Spence Ford Comet.

This is not the pic, obvioulsy, but if you contact him you can buy the print. I have been told the Spence car was named "Cyanide" at one time. That is the pic this seller has. He says the car is undergoing restoration in the Midwest somewhere. I used to work with a fellow that started out at Spence Ford, but we have lost touch.
