look on Evil bay, type in "metal flake" in autoparts and Black flake will come up. also type it "metalflake". G
yes you can get black metal flake. i have some. i tinted it in clear and was going to do my dash in it, but changed my mind when i saw the gloss black with ****loads of chrome i have on it that was enough for me. You can definately get black metal flake.
You can get it. According to Eryk from Los Boulevardos, you have to put a lil tiny pinch of another color of flake to get it to pop though. Otherwise it just kinda lays there. It doesn't excite the way other colors of flake do. Never seen it in person though, or any pics for that matter...
a neighbor has a OT thunderbird with black metalflake, the flakes are a very very dark metal color. Looks really, really good.
Okay. I wanna do black w/flake on the roof of my truck. Its not to far off from paint, so Im just doin a little bit of research....
I would definately not do it. We did a cadillac at the shop I work at with black flake on the roof. It looked like garbage. Everything was done right the flake just doesn't shine that bright. You wouldn't know if it had flake until you got within 5 ft. I'll get some pics if I can find some.
Check out the Black Pearl Slate Metallic on the 2010 Fords. They also have a Tuxedo black metallic on the 2011's.
Just saw a late model Dodge Caravan today that might have what you are looking for. Check out your nearest Mopar dealership to see for yourself.
Lincoln has a black flake. It's a 2010 color, I think it's called tuxedo black metallic. Its on my wifes car. Hope that helps.
Eh nevermind the black. I was talking to my buddy and I told him about the grey w/black flake roof, and he said "Eeeeyy! Raiders foo!" And then I realized I dont want my truck to be known locally as the "raiders truck." So then I saw a frey car with a blue flake roof, and fell in love with it. So Im going with blue flake and satin black! Werid day....
GO RAIDERS AYE!!! But seriously, black and silver is cl***ic. One of the best color combo's in my opinion. http://www.rothmetalflake.com
its kinda like ghost flames ... a whole lotta work for something that barely stands out , i'm just saying what draws the attention of flake is the way it pops ....
Car in avatar 51 ford painted with Sterling Silver and Flat Black Metalic then cleared so now the whole thing shines and the black metalic looks cool, off Ebay, type in car paint and open up the paint websites, you'll find it.....
My 2010 Chevy Silverado has carbon black metallic paint, very nice. Some of the metallic has a green tint.
