Another Colorado Springs HAMBer

Hey all,

We moved back to the Springs in February and I was at the HAMB drags with my buddy, HeavyTLC. I'm looking for something HAMB friendly to work on fairly soon.
Looking forward to some of the local get-togethers. Going to try and get to one of the Tuesday Culver's cruise nights soon.
Anything going on in the area besides that?

the k-mart on filmore and nevada on sat nights. First sat every month is the garden of the gods show at the visitor center, and the pizza joint on the corner of 8th and cimarron every wed. Carnage on larimer is the 11th of next month in denver. Hope all of that helps. Need anything let me know.

 

We will find you something. All the good projects are out there. You need a driver. one that you just put gas in. Maybe not as much gas as the Fairlane.

 

also first saturday is golden super cruise. lots of cars show up and pretty much jam up the town of golden for a night.

carnage isnt so much my thing, lots of rat shit, and I mean rat shit. A few trads and customs sprinkled in.

 

Have to agree with Gearhead Graphics on the carnage comment. Also, the Sunday after the Golden cruise Wheatridge Lanes has a good little afternoon get together with music, cars, and lounging.

 

yeah. I heard that about carnage but I cannot afford to do the starliner trip, so this will have to do this year.

There's also a gathering at the old grocery warehouse on Austin Bluffs Parkway, saturdays around 5pm. The show at the Garden of the Gods visitor center, put on by The Stockers, will be sept 18, from 1pm to 5pm. It's the Stockers last show and cruise of the season, and it's free. There's an e-mail list of shows and clubs you can subscribe to, pm me and I'll forward the info.

 

Holy Cats! With all the stuff you guys got goin' on over there on a weekly basis, when you do find time to go to work and make a buck? I'm almost thinkin' I should move over to that side of the mountain... Damn! Not much stuff like that ever shakes over here...

 

I knew I wanted to move back here for other reasons besides the beautiful scenery, great weather and the hundreds of other things to do.
