These guys couldn't work out why their very big, heavy looking streamliner would not go 300. I'm no racing expert but it would seem a very big ask to get a 3.8 litre (***mins?) diesel to push such an enormous car anything like that. Not saying it's not possible but there are much smaller, lighter cars with much bigger mills that don't make 300.

I very much enjoyed your post on building the modified. It would have been fun to meet you at Bonneville; maybe another time. So much to see and do there; I was like a kid in a candy store!! Thanks for posting your pictures

 

Geez I really missed my car during that week. We need to all walk around with pictures of our cars above our heads so we can be recognised by other members of the species.
