    Hi all,

I introduced myself in the 52-56 Ford group, but not here so I figured I best get to it.

Here is my 1954 Ford Customline, which I've named Iris (because she's blue).

She has 223 I6 with 3 on the tree, lowered 3" all around, lake pipes, dummy spots, custom satin paint and stripes and a lace, flake, and candy roof. She's been halfway converted to 12v, I'm in the process of fully rewiring her and getting the gauges to work. Next up is power brakes, maybe discs, and a 302/C4 swap.

As a former Orygonian..welcome. Even if you are a mossback although I lived on the west side of "the mountain" for many years in the portland area...still prefer the east side. Hope you have fun here.

If I'm honest, I too prefer the east side, or at least the close in east side. Can't beat it for character. :)

Oh, and here's a pic of my "daily driver" just for the heck of it...

Welcome from Aloha. Sweet Customline you have there. Will have to keep an eye out for it. There's a NW Hambers group, too.

I'm from Vancouver. I like your car. Care to share details of the satin finish on your car? Thinking of something similar on mine.

Glad to see some locals on here! I saw a flyer for that show in Hillsboro and meant to check it out and totally forgot. I guess I'll have to join up with the PNW Hamb group to help keep up to date. :p

slo-dat, it was painted when I bought her, but I do know it's a DuPont paint. Not really sure of the color code or anything. I think it's a Hot Hues DuPont matte clear.

    Welcome,
I love your matte paint. Somewhere in my plan is a very dark blue matte with matte white top. Our cars could be twins, right down to the dent on top of the radiator. I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as many of the guys, but, if I can help with some of my many questions, i'll be happy to have drawn out good info. I must say all the folks i've conversed have been very gracious and helpfull.
