Looks like the radius rod tabs are on an angle so it would be a 32 v8 rear right? the 32A style tabs were mounted straight

The Model A '32 axle had a round flange where the torque tube bolted to the banjo. The V8 was scalloped like the '33 and '34.

    It is a 33-34 rear.
You need some radius rods for it?

I believe it is later than a '33-34........didn't the spring have a compound curve like the '32? The spring in the picture is straight across, more like a '40...........anybody else see it that way?

If the driveshaft outer tube measures 53 3/8 +/- it is 32 length,
    ***uming my memory is correct.
I can measure one of mine if needed.

it appears to be a late `32 (that would be a very good find) or a `33 -`34. the length of the torque tube will determine whether it is a `32 or `33-`34. i`m basing my statements on the fact that it has angled radius rod brackets on the axle tube and also scalloped flange on the banjo housing.

If I remember right (sometimes I don't), the radius rod mounts on a '32 were straight. The '33 &'34's were angled.

the radius rod mounts on the "early" `32 axle were straight (parallel to the torque tube) the "late `32 axle had angled mounts.

Look at the brake drums on that rear........they are solid like a 1940......I do not believe this rear is a '32, 33 or 34..........am I wrong? The brake drums would be vented on a '33-34.......

And the banjo looks pretty wide in the center section to be that early.....

And, are the backing plates fitted with hydraulic wheel cylinders?......or do they have mechanical connectors?

I still think it is later........1940+

Just measured a '33/'34 rear I've got on my LandSpeedRacer mockup and it's ~51 3/8" inside flange to flange (I've got the original brakes)
