Meet up at the Lost in the 50's drive-in in Burnaby for burgers, fries and what-not on Thursday, Sept 2nd, 6:00 P.M. 'till close. The food here is great, it's a family business and the son is running it now. Organic burgers, bakery-fresh buns, hand-cut fries and coke in the old-fashioned bottles. They make a killer milkshake too. I talked to the guy today and he says everyone is welcome, they'll take real good care of us! I'll be there, hopefully with my '58 Pontiac. Here's the address: Lost in the 50′s Drive-in 7741 Edmonds Street Burnaby, BC (604) 521-2813
Bump for the evening crowd. Be sure to bring cash, he's getting a debit machine but it's not in yet. Shawn
Wish I could be there. Already committed to an other family event. Would have looked forward to meeting some locals. My '57 squire isn't up and running yet, but what better time to find out about resources and support. I'll keep my eye out for future events.
this sounds good. me and some buddies started going there on fridays, but we all got to busy so we couldnt keep it up. ill try my best to be there
I went for Thursday because I figured most people have plans for Friday evenings. Looking forward to seeing you guys there!
Damn, wish I could be there, since I'm not far from there right now. Unfortunately, I'm at work, on Annacis Island, which means 3:30 til Midnight, Mon.-Fri. I always miss the A&W Thursday nights too. Oh well, gotta work to pay for the Hot Rod parts.
Phrappster and I were the only ones there. Too bad, we had some fun bench racing. The Big Bopper burger rocks, hard to get your mouth around it. The patties are homemade too. They also have the good Mexican Coca-Cola in the green gl*** bottles. The owner said that we'll get 10% off our orders if we make this a regular thing. Hoping to keep it going on the first thursday of every month. Shawn
