Bad *** car. You will always have the ...IF it is billet....It is gay ...attacks. But the car shows some work and that is to be respected. Bottom line is....f everyone...it your car.

Big wheels on old rods now seems to be the trend.
I think in this case I would like to see some vintage
    Pontiac 8 lug wheels...They are a trick wheel/drum combo.
If you go with disc brakes..no can use..

I think a Winfield fade away paint job would look nice, maybe some chrome reverse wheels w/bullits.:D I like the low look of the car.

I'll post these pics of my car with vintage Pontiac 8 lugs.
Mine's the Black car but my buddy in the 62 has 8 lugs on the front.
Not to many of these wheels out there...that's what makes them different..;)
BTW: 1960 was the first year you could get them....

I want to see some caddy sombrero's and white walls under that.

Although they predate the car by almost 20 years, they work with anything long low and flat.

I'd ponder raising the front and dropping the back. Unless you want it to be dead level. Rake with the rear up doesnt quite work on that car.

A dark color would make it look even shorter and wider too. Black? Sinister.

  7. It will be col,Just wonder if it drives or just goes straightline...:D Damn those tires and wheels look like they won't steer to me....
May I suggest some full ...say 55 Olds caps on 15" steel rims with narrow whiteWalls?

Great exterior lines, wheels/tires ****.(IMO) Lost me on the dash. Has tons of potential to kick *** though.

wutup Marc!!!3 rib radirs with bullet centers and pinners.is it going to be a solid color or the usual kyle multi color?take it easy big man!! -Jimmy-

  10. I like the general look, but I think the details are mixed up. There's a little traditional, mixed with a lotta high tech, and I think that doesn't work.

the steering wheel doesn't go with the dash
'59 Caddy bullets don't go with 20" billets
flush mounted tinted gl*** doesn't go with chrome bumpers

maybe the paint and upholstery will tie it all together, but I doubt it. You know tweed inserts don't go with metalflake rolls right?

Not really my style, but a lot of good work. The forward curving part of the c-pillar throws the flow of the top off though... (or would that be the b-pillar, since there's only two?)

it will not have flush mounted tinted gl*** when its done. he has all the window trim cut for it. the back window is a mock-up (plex) and the front need to be re-cut. its cracked bad. We will never do tweed lol. I think Lippy has the rite idea. Winfield fade away paint with chrome reverse wheels w/bullits is what I would like to see. . simple & clean. we will see how it will all come around. as for the dash? we will be thinking about that a lil more.
maybe a big billet Iron cross cross member with neon lights that will drag and spark. lol I am joking!

This picture just for comparison purposes. In my opinion, these cars are bad *** just the way they are. But I do like the Bonneville.

i think this might have been posted on the wrong forum
    nice chop and so

but the billet dash with dakota digital gauges and 20" billet wheels have made me think that this car is not an traditional custom
and as far as i know cars like that isn't really hamb material

the chrome reverse wheels sounds like an way better idea then the wheels on it

and for godsake remove that dash!

Yeah Pontiac 8 lugs would be cool.
Not exactly a trad rod but I'm diggin' it excet for the no side windows thing.
The chop is *****in'. I really think the steering wheel works too.

It's your (Kurt's) car so that's who has to be pleased with it. I can appreciate the work that went into it and applaud the effort.

For me, I've sat here trying to find something I liked about it and come up dry. It's just not my style at all and I think a beautiful car was lost.

Buick Skylark or Star Wires would be ***s on this thing, especially with a fade!

Why not genuine 1960 Pontiac Flipper wheel covers ??:D
The Olds Fiesta's I must admit better suit the image.
    Wide White's of course.
OR...Moon Salt Flats special spun aluminum full covers..

I have these up for sale..

That reverse curve on the windshield is the same on the Cad ~ bet 'that' was fun to deal with! :-(

    Was considering 4".
