frame swap question

hi all!!
could i use a 53 chevy car frame on my 51 chevy car? thanks for any info

i believe the frames are the same just the bodymounts are different a 49-52 are the same and 53-54 are the same but with modifications th the quarter mounts i believe it will work. what are your plans

 

thanks for the info. my frame now is air bagged and lays on the ground. im thinking of rebuilding another one so its completely old school. im kinda over the whole bagged car.

 

most people get frustrated with the switches you should look into accuair you can actually align your car an you dont have to keep messing with settings just push one ****on and it does all the rest
