Mr Leckner, It is truly a wonderful thing you did for Jerry. I am sure that Jerry is more than thankful for the work you did on the Hup. Maybe there is a matching Hup in Heaven for Jerry to enjoy. Thanks so very much for what you did for a fellow rodder.

Hats off to Mr. Leckner and friends- what an amazing, selfless effort! You made a dream come true for a fella who was dealt a very bad hand.

God bless Jerry and his friends and family.

Often I feel like I am about to lose faith in people, then I read something like this. This is a great thing that these guys did.

I've talked to Jamie a couple of times on the phone (business) & dealt with a couple of the guys at his shop; couldn't ask for better people to deal with.

Things happen for a reason, I don't believe in chance, that the Hup ended up a Jamey Leckner's shop for a reason. The dream team for the monumental task.

I tend to think that, in-spite of all the negative news we hear on a daily basis, a good part of our society is as kind-hearted as the wonderful folks that were involved in this selfless project. I hope I'm right in that ***umption.
It is a great thing that you guys have done for this man.

I trust he is driving the Hot Rod in the Sky! Very sad, yet heart warming. Kuddos to all who laid a hand on the hot rod and on this families heart!
    God Speed!

Strange that I should read this post because just this past Saturday I had a fellow gearhead come up to me with a similar situation asking for my help in trying to get a project complete before a fellow friend's life might expire. :(

Don't know if any of the guys that made this happen are HAMBers. If not, I hope someone that knows them will send them the link. Lot of us would be honored to buy them a cold one.
