I'm originally from Decatur Illinois, now live in Lima Ohio. I'm a second generation Hot Rodder, my dad is one of the "original" Hot Rodders from the mid-forties til now. He recently gave me his 32 Ford five window. It is a 50s hot rod that was parked (in a heated garage) around 58. I recently got it running again....it still has a flathead with all it's original speed equipment. I will post pics as soon as I learn my way around the site. Dad had several choice cars I can post pics of if anyone is interested in them. Some of the cars he had: Model A roadster, 32 Cabriolet, 49 Ford conv, 50 Ford conv, 54 Ford conv, 51 Mercury, 56 Ford Victoria, 32 five window, 34 5 window, 40 Standard Coupe (he still has it: orig paint. 51K orig. Black), 55 T-bird, 57 T-bird "E-Bird", 59 Corvette. Not a bad collection of cars, ESPECIALLY when you consider that he owned all of these cars BEFORE 1960---the year I was born.
