I brought my new pistons and rods into my shop here at work to install the new pistons to the rods. Im having a brain fart for the day and cant remember does 289 spin clockwise or counter clockwise if you are looking at then engine straight on like you are looking at the front pulley.

what's stupider is that I have a running sbf (357 - 351 = .060) in my '56 & I can't remember which way it turns. I think it's clockwise, but surely don't hold me to it. You have a manual?

Should be clockwise, as you described it.

I think most automotive engines spin clockwise looking at them from the front of the car.
