What can ya say about the Oliver Group? These are some amazing people. Very giving and very supportive both emotionally and physically. From helping me transport my '35 to rewire to volunteering at the show..........the entire group has gone above and beyond the call of duty. They have a good time where ever they go and that is what I was initially attracted to. Some groups show up to shows and piss and moan about this and that. This is too expensive - I dont have a good spot - I didnt get a trophy - blah blah blah The Oliver Group does NOT do this stuff - they go to the events to have a good time and nothing gets in their way. Rain. Mud. Wind. Crabby neighbors.....ha they just roll with it and have a good time. Truly an inspiration. If we could all adopt a bit of their at***ude we would be a little happier I think............... anyway This was one of their contributions to the art show! Mask is not included! info about the auction and who has helped out that some of you may not know: Not sure the HAMB knows what we put together for the Vintage Torque Fest. Jimmy Flintstone contributed helmets to the art show and these were sent out to the artists that agreed to help out back in October. The artists were asked to contribute whatever concept they wanted to the helmets. Almost all of the artists have agreed to contribute the proceeds from the auction to www.helpinghannahsheart.org This is a medical expense trust set up to help pay the many medical expenses that have ac***ulated over the past 3.5 years. For those that dont know, our baby has had different procedures throughout her 3 year life including open heart surgery. She will have to have more open heart surgery again in about 5 years. The doctors have to be paid in order to keep on doing more surgery. I will get more details as people want to know them. Visit www.helpinghannahsheart.org for details on what she has gone through. These helmets are a direct cast off an original German M40 WWII helmet and will fit with the proper lining installed. These helmets are NOT DOT approved so dont think you can wear this out on the street with your motorcycle. These helmets cost $40 with nothing on them - just the normal resin. Add the cost of the time and energy and paint that was contributed by each artist and you see that the helmets SHOULD go for over $100. The helmets that were auctioned off at the show went for about $150 - $200. But we did not have enough time to auction off ALL the helmets....so Ryan has agreed to auction them here on the HAMB and he has been very gracious in stating that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to www.helpinghannahsheart.org Thanks for looking and we hope that you will continue to support the cause. <!-- / message --><!-- sig --> __________________
