Hello! I'm from São Paulo - Brazil! I don't have Hot Rods...but i love them! Actually, it's kind of difficult see one of those here...but we have national events every year only for hots. This "practice" here is very much expensive yet. So i introduce to you guys my little collection of cars! First of all, it's a Chevrolet Opala, year 1972 - Opala = Opel + Impala. 4 cilinders engine, coupe, i'm the second owner of the car! Today is in restoration. I'm restoring it from zero! The car will be like this (i think it will end this september): ************************* Other car: Puma GTE 1979 - It's a brazilian car based in VW Beetle plataform and engine. Made a lot of success here! Hand made cars. Almost 30.000 produced! Mine is the most original in Brazil! ********************* Next! VW Beetle 1971, i was the second owner of this car...i sold past 2 week! Very nice "cherry" car! hehe ******************* And the last one! 1978 Chevrolet Chevette! It was my most adorable car...stolen in the front of my university Photos taken in my countryside home! R.I.P. ***** And finally, this is my father on board our Kawaski Vulcan Nomad 1500! So that's it! I think we can exchange nice experiences here! Regards!
Welcome from Arkansas. I especially liked the decal from Fontana Drag Strip, I spent a lot of time there in the '60s...
Welcome Rafael , you come from a beautiful part of the world ! I was lucky enough to visit Brazil in 2006 ( amazing place ).........................................David
Hi Rafael...Welcome from Rio...There are some more Brazilians over here...I have several between my friends here, you can take a look!....Just be careful with posts talking about cars made after 1965...Those are not very much the prefered issue over here!...I will send you a friendship request then you can meet the other Brazilians here!
That puma is GORGEOUS. Not sure why people get upset about such interesting cars being off topic. You already know they are not hotrods, but I think it's important and neat to see what cars lead a person into traditional hot rodding. Welcome from Michigan!
