The race was GREAT. 2x the size of last year. Everyone had a ball and got their fill of racing. I got to ride along in the Frantic Rat twice... 6.19 secs in the 1.8th, 1100hp... amazing ride.

Thanks to all that came out, we are already planning for next year.

It worked out well teaming up with the Unique Tin club and car show in Longview WA the day before (i'll have pics from the show and cruise up later)... A bunch of great folks and a well run show/cruise.

here are some pics...mine arent done yet (I'm still in the hotel and on the road home), but here are a few from a flicker account that someone posted.

Thanks for putting on a great event, and linking my photos into here. I got so annoyed with the flickr linking mechanism that I didn't want to post them all here as well as my 'home' forum. I didn't expect to see the the glorious owner of billetproof out in shorts!

As a kiwi visitor it was good to see some different iron.

The 'gal' in the 'Val' was no spring chicken.

I did a few vids as well.

Riverdale raceway in Toutle Wa. It was a great event, anyone who likes hotrods should put this on their must do list.

Here's all my video in one dump. The cars come in about 2:45. Thought it would to be cool to include Alan's blah blah . . . what was I thinking?<p>
Good time, everyone had fun. Thanks Alan and the best track crew anywhere, the Riverdale Raceway bunch.

Bigger and better next year, right? And exclusively pre 64-ish? The bikes and diesels were cool, though.

Thank you Buckable for the footage. That was an awesome time. I really appreciate the footage of my 32, my dads green 55, and my 1940 pickup in which we built 24 years ago. If you notice I beat him off the line twice. That was the first time he has raced since 65. He had such a great time, as did I. Thank you to allen and his wife the Riverdale staff, and all the great people that were there that love this hobby as much as we do. I look forward to next year and am proud to be here in the Northwest with you all. Mike

I must say also, we had a BLAST! Good place to let it all hang out. We're already wearing our new jackets around the house, Alan. I also hadn't been on the strip in many years. What a flashback, and a major rush to fly down the track again. Thanks much, Mr.&Mrs. Choptop. A great time for sure! This is ME! 9"

Wow, sorry about the triple post. Posting videos really throws me for a loop here sometimes. Tried to delete the extra posts and it deletes them all. Then I put a single post back in and it puts them all back plus one. I'm done.
