For those who think that here we have only monkeys and bananas...hehehhehe Some cars in events we have monthly here!
maxicar.com.br looks like an interesting site. Pity about my Portuguese being nonexistent. What is the engine in this one? What is this? It looks rather like the mid-Vintage Oldsmobile of which I've got a model. Despite the really odd combination of bits there is something appealing about this one.
What is the show schedule there? I will be coming down to Sao Bernardo dos Campos visit a vendor within the next month.
I'm impressed. If you hadn't told me where those car were located, I would have never guessed Brazil.
damn impressive stuff, and considering the culture gap between Brasilieros and "traditional" (US) rodders.... hitting pretty close to center! i'm curious myself about the engine in the Merc.... Jag V12?
Hey guys, i think it's normal to never imagine that brazil had hot rods! it's the image we pass, or even the midia..but that's ok! I didn't know the engine of that Merc MercDeuceMan, those hot rods events are 1 time in year. During week we have some old cars events, but sometimes appears some hot rods. in 12 of september i think will have an event near where you will be, in Santo André! Later i'll post more photos for you guys! Regards!
I need to convince my pal in Belo Horizonte to hang out with you man. When I came down, all i saw were VW Gols! We drove from Belo Horizonte to Ouro Preto then on to Rio and I never saw any Rods during my trip in July... I did see the mokeys though! Haha
hahahahahah i think it's because the most hots are in São Paulo (were i live), the biggest city in brazil, Rio Grande do Sul and Curitiba (states that were founded by germans and have a lot of them)
I like this VW, to me it should be the new 2012 bug model. This is the first car with the new headlites that look like they should be there. Kool chop. Thanks for sharing the pics with us. I'd love to drive that Merc...., Happy Trails, Mick
hahahahahhaha where i live don't have monkeys..only in Rio (thiefs city...a s**ty city) and in Amazonia Florest! In my city (Sao Paulo) we have this:
