The first time i worked with Make A Wish was in the late seventys for a young man who wanted to do Parada Del Sol in his truck a 1955 F-100 with bad fenders Make A Wish wanted some fenders they got a whole lot of guys who worked nights and weekends to restore the truck from the local F-100 club. The young man made the parade, and about a week more, about a month, more than the Doc's said he would.

What better gift could any one do but to make a man's dream come true? Its people like these that make life worth while and give hope to the world we now live in. Bless every one of them that answered the call.

Can you just imagine if the whole world was involved in DOING something of this nature instead of hating and trying to take advantage of one another? Thanks to all who were involved in this project. Good things do happen to good people and you just put some "good things" in the bank.

First of all, I did'nt know Jerry Dahl, and I've only been in Dreamers once. But yesterday, a friend of mine came over that had just been to the funeral. His wife works with Jerrys' wife. The car was even at the funeral! I had read the 2 articles in The Herald newspaper, here in Snohomish County. I hope the newspaper articles, read by the general public, helped to portray hotrodders in a better light than just hoodlums on wheels. Hats off to Dreamers and crew, and the Thursday Night Garage guys. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Also cool that he could leave behind something tangible for his family to remember him by. His Hot Rod legacy will live on for his kids or grandkids.
