Who's going to the U.S. Nationals?

Just wondering who else will be going to Indy next weekend. We will be arriving Friday morning and going to the Schumacher open house to check out the Nostalgia Funny Car Cacklefest and hanging out at the track all weekend.

went to the 40th loved it ,, now tv is all I need, they are trying too hard to ****e it up, nostalgia does it , I wonder if the powers wonder about gate price reduction I know theres a little but still cost big bucks but I tell every young do it at least once theres nothing like it!!!!

 

Go check out the A/Nostalgia Dragsters driven by Scott Parks and Brian Darcy. They run in Comp Eliminator. Unbelievable engineering. Have a great time.

 

This would have been the 4th year in a row for us but i am dealing with a blood clot in my leg and won't be able to go. I love indy. The S&S team will be there on display in front of the concourse. Check them out.

This will be my 17th trip,It can get kind of pricey,I have been pretty fortunate and have not had to buy tickets for years.

 

I'm going on Friday..Gotta see the SS/AH challenge

 

I'll get there Fri eve. and attend Sat and Sunday.
Taking my 7 year old to his first national event.
Our pro mod will be running in the GSA series.

 

Friday is my day. The hemi challenge, and the pro mods.

I have been to every day of every one since 1988 (my first in the US was 1984) and have been as a crew member, journalist and a couple of times just as a fan. I also have a 20 year history at the Aussie Nats from 1968 until 1988 when I moved to this side of the big water.

Last time I went to Indy, they still had cl***es for Top Gas, Gas Supercharged and Fuel Altereds. Since they dropped those, I don't care so much.

Leaving Thurs. night. this will be my 34th year and also 34yrs that I haven't been home for Moms birthday but she understands and at 83 yrs old she will be watching the Indys nat on TV at the senior home.

 

man this is the first yr in like 15 we wont be there..my dad runs SS/AH.but his motor didnt make any power so it would b a waste of time.i feel bad for him.it ****s
