1926 Chrysler Floor Help

    I found a 26 Chrysler it came with no top or floor . I was wondering if any one had any experience putting a floor in.

    Hey Daniel!
    Haven't worked on a 26 Chrysler, but Fords, Chevys, Studes. They all had combination of steel an wood floors, steel under the seats and over the trans, wood in the other spots.
    Tops? well mostly wood look up "top bows" some steel channels were used. Now your gonna want to make steel parts, but you will need the frame set to ride height, and see how much you want to lower(channel) the body to frame, then set you chop for you top. a nice long contour gauge will come in handy, you can make one fairly easy.     Thanks ghost the photos answer a whole bunch of questions... i am excited to get started and I figured out the pictures.
