Howdy all. I have a Model A Tudor with a stock frame and mechanical brakes.

If i reverse the spring main leaves, maybe get them reset slightly lower, will this effect the mechanism any?

If not, how much can i take out before i start running into other problems?

    Any advice much appreciated.
    Thanks.

You only get into problems if a dropped axle is used.

So should be good to go then? Didn't want to put new springs in and have the brakes binding up or something stupid.

Everything else seems to have decent clearance around it, and I'm only thinking an inch or two drop.

Just looks realllly high now with the fenders removed.

You should be fine. -Might- need to adjust afterwards.
