Here's some more progress. Putting the interior back together, electrical stuff etc. Made a cross brace to run across the firewall which serves as a mount for trim, braces to the dash and column drop, has a mounting surface for the fuse panel and a panel for ignition and switches. Using a Limeworks column, it was modified so that the wiring for the horn and turn signal switch comes out just behind the column drop. Most of the wiring is now run, there's still a coil of sheathed wire under the dash awaiting the wiper motor which will be on a removable mount on the windshield frame. Battery is in it's hole and there's an isolation switch and power socket on the riser.
Tony, fine work brother! Just on the polished axle; is that chromed or polished? No chroming is allowed on the I beam axles down here in South Australia so I'm wondering. I'll be using one of Dave Mann's polished steel axles to get a shiny axle as a work around solution.
Sweet... coming together very nicely, Tony. Looking forward to seeing it all ****oned up and on the road.
It's coming together great. The colour combo looks better as more things go back on. I like the idea of the hidden Switch & Ignition. It makes for a clean looking dash. Keep the updates coming.
I dig the cross bar with all the components attached. Craig sure can string some wires, looks fantastic. Keep up the good work!
Sweet! I was thinking about that color combo with the wheels, now I know what it looks like. I like it! Same with the steering wheel! We do think alike... Looking good.
Beautiful, Tony, just stunning. And there is something about a white firewall that just sets off a car. Really terrific work.
I painted the Offy rocker covers yesterday and the car is at the trimmers. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts
Tony, I also put a set of Offys on ther newest roadster. It's goin to Mangus monday, then back here to run up a few more miles on it then drivin to LARS. Too bad ya can't come over this year. Also takin the new coupe down, It's gonna be in the Sanderson Booth. Don
That is one sweet ride!!!! I noticed the hydralic clutch your using with the T-5. What type is it that is on the input shaft? Is it Ford or aftermarket? I've heard of using a 2006 V6 bearing retainer for this. Can't wait to see this complete.
I think we've run out of adjectives for this one. Stunning, spectacular, over the top, nothing seems to do it justice. Great workmanship, color selection, it just goes on and on. Congrats on getting to the final stretch, this is definitely going to be a great one. Frank
Trim - "Hello rest of car. My you look good today." Rest of car - "Why thankyou." The difference between complIment and complEment.
