    Anyone got a fatman susp. under a shoebox ford?

    I used a 91 lincoln towncar front suspension clipped to the 51 frame,has parts that can be had at any parts store plus power steering, disc brakes, motor mounts for a 302 or what I used was the 4.6, and the 51 front springs fit and lower the car.

    Shoebox about 56" front track , ' 91 Lincoln town car about 62" and it looks it. Sorry man but that front end is to wide for the shoebox.

    I'm sure that they're nice, but wow, they're pricey.

    I just started a shoebox project, and I think I'm gunna do an S10 clip. If you're building on a budget, the cost just can't be beat.
