I've been viewing the forum for awhile, gleaning info for the wife's 49 Ford. It's chopped and bagged and in the cl***ic flat black with red wheels that not everyone likes (I remember the red wheels from the 50's and early 60's). I've also got a 38 Chevrolet Coupe that I bought as a basket case in the mid 70's -- built it- it was my daily driver for while in the early 80's and hasn't turned a wheel under it's own power since the mid 80's. My wife and I both like old cars (she thinks that 1949 is old enough-doesn't like my old fat fender car), Corvettes, motorcycles and camping in a 1972 Streamline (looks like an airstream). Thanks to all of the writers for the information that is contained in the forum, I've learned quite abit and the information here can't be found in a book!

Logride--- Thanks for your note, I believe I met you either last year or the year before, in Malvern, Denny introduced us, your avatar "kicked" my memory. I was very impressed with what you had done on that car, especially with what you started with.
