Is There a width dif between 37 and 38 chev fenders ?

I have my fenders off the car and the Drivers rear is 1" narrower than the P***. fender. Is there width difference in 37 to 38 fenders? They are both steel fenders. Thanks for Any Info. (Danog)

 

yes there is a very sligth difference in the 37 /38 fenders 38's are wider, i belive somehow it is width at the top of the fender for tire clearence

 

The fender is in good shape. It just to close to the tire. I hate to buy an other fender, but O' Well. Thanks
