What's the difference between the decklid the car had, and the Sedan decklid?

I really like the new profile of the car. That roof is looooong! Looks killer.
How are you going to handle the side gl***?

and love the taillights too!

 

The difference between decklids is about 7" in length. Havent got to the side gl*** yet but the plan is the door will close against a piece of rubber an rear quarter will roll up into a channel like the origional hardtop did.

 

Looks awesome, all your hard work has paid off. One of the most *****in 54s ever built.

 

I don't get it, you went backwards from the way more stylish and expensive hardtop to a sedan, why not start with a sedan in the first place?
It's your car, I like the way it looks, it's interesting but I woulda much rather have had a hardtop when I found my 54 Chevy 150 sedan.
