My Girlfriend drove my 26 Roadster 750 miles this weekend from Tyler to Vernon Texas and back this weekend in 104 degree heat and never whimpered. Her or the car!!!!! I was proud of her, she had a blast and was running all over taking pics. We had a great time.

It's a lucky man whose woman shares his hobbies (sicknesses!) I know the feeling and wouldn't trade my wife for anything. Ya got a good one there, thanks for sharing!

She's a keeper! I'm trying to convince my girl she should ditch her car and drive my 64 falcon wagon as a daily!

That's awesome and sounds like a blast. Good for her!

I drove my '66 like 300 miles this weekend, does that count? :D People tell me I need to put A/C in it and I glare at them, you can't cruise with your arm out the window if you've got A/C.

Now you know how great it is to have a companion that likes your hobby.
My wife has always driven my old cars and I was very pleased too when my son at 18 drove the Track Car from Houston to Mountain Home AR and back a few years ago.
    Enjoy it!

  17. Looks like a cool trip. Hope she used sunscreen....

  18. Doesn't work... Mine learned on a Dodge dart so she could drive the Corvette!

It's like teaching them "how to shoot handguns"... just don't teach them how to load it!!!;)
