willysguy & ts3x65mph - It was really great meeting & talking with you guys on Saturday.

willysguy - I'd have to agree with Boones ... definitely 1 of my top 5 favorites @ the WCNs ... and probably the nicest (non-g***er ;)) Willys ever built! ... I found myself coming back to your car several times over the weekend ... and every time I looked at it, I saw another trick and/or *****ing' item I hadn't seen before ... Your attention to detail is simply amazing ... made even more impressive by the fact that you built the car in your home garage!

c'mon HEMI32, lets see 'em. you won't be able to blame Longs Photo Processing for your pictures with parts of the car cut off like you used to back in the film days.:D

Agreed! ... but I still find it entertaining to see how many folks click on the pic of the Vietnamese Phở noodle soup trying to figure out WTF it is (already at 45 clicks ... and counting!) :D

Naw ... too much work ... besides Boones' GG WCN pics are much better than mine ... and I'm patiently waiting for 49ratfink's GG WCN Pic thread! ;)

Now back to our regularly scheduled program ...

and due to them not selling, they used unsold 48's and sold them as 49's.

Packard was the first to have the H pattern gear shift, electric windows, and air conditioning. That is awesome to see them still around. esp because they are technically rarer than some shelby models due to the low production.

Couple more from the show. Haven't been in almost a decade. Went on friday, pretty laid back
Custom Cads never go out of style
    [IMG]

    Blowers are still cool [IMG]

Custom flames still make you stop and look closely at the detail
    [IMG]

If you have to tow your car or m/c you might as well do it wit a bit of style
    [IMG]

Some serious work to make this happen

    panz4ever -

    Welcome to the HAMB.

That '57 Cadillac Custom is owned by a "power-parking", "trophy-*****" HAMBr that goes by the name PhatCaddy ... if you look closely in the background, you can see his trailer and his cry baby doll leaning against the poll of his E-Z Up canopy! (sorry Brian, I couldn't help myself :D).

I have no comment on the rest of your pics (except that none of the subjects are very HAMB-friendly).

Again, welcome to the HAMB ... might want to take a moment to Read This First.

I heard someone took pictures for the paper but did not see the newspaper. I wonder how hard it would be to get a copy...

KIRK!, if i had gotten in the LS, I would have had to wear it the rest of the event, a fred flintstone thing.. not sure I could have gotten out of it once in.

There were a lot of amazing cars and trucks at this year's Goodguys West Coast Nationals, but even more amazing were some of the great people I met...what a fantastic event.

Met this cool guy named Mark from New Zealand. I first saw this car at Bonneville a few weeks ago and then again in Pleasanton. This killer 1940 Ford standard is powered by a 324 Oldsmobile Rocket motor and is headed down under soon.
