I am extremely happy with my Kiwi Konnection frame. I needed a frame with accurate body bolt hole dimensions to unchannel the body with and I understand some builders narrow their frames slightly to more easily accommodate gl*** bodies. I believe people will agree that ASC rails need to be built on a good jig though its not absolutely necessary with a stock frame. I have also heard good thing about Jim Wimmers rails.

I've boxed 100s of pairs of ASC rails and had no troubles. I am now using JW Garage boxed rails because my rail boxer moved out of the country. The verdict is still out on the JW rails?

Call Gary at Blackboard Hotrods 661-205-1190. He built over 400 frames for squeak at Kiwi Konnection. He has had his own place since Kiwi Konnection changed hands. He pinches asc 32 rails for either 28-29 or 30-31 all the time and I believe he is the least expensive. his website is www.blackboardhr.com Good Luck!

  8. I am very pleased with the frame that I got from Gary Maxwell at Blackboard Hotrods. I recommend him highly. HAMBer Hot Rod Micky in Germany has used several of his frames. You might check with him. He is a good guy and a real hot rodder.

    x2! I've done a lot of business with Gary. He's a perfectionist.

Denny Lesky at Ionia hot Rod Shop makes excellent deuce frames with an OEM appearance. I believe he uses American Samping rails.

The fellas at Ionia Hot Rod Shop put out an incredible product they've got integrity. So, when they say they're going to do something, they actually do it. I'd highly recommend them.

I too agree with the comments about Gary at Blackboard Hot Rods, I had him build a pinched perimeter frame for my '28 roadster body. Turned out excellent and very reasonably priced. He even delivered to an event for me while I was in California. I would definitely recommend him.
