Ok so I admittedly don't know a lot about wrenching on cars beyond routine maintenance. But I've always had a love for old cars and going fast. So I bought a project car that I plan on learning with and doing the work myself. It's a 1955 Oldsmobile 88

Hello and welcome from Maryland. I've had five 55 Oldsmobiles and still have two. So let me know if I can help out with questions. Check out the clubs on 50's Oldsmobiles here on the HAMB too......
Why, Johnny Ringo--"you look like someone just walked over your grave". Couldn't resist---welcome from Rowlett, TX.
Wow! Thanks for all the responses. I'm in Terre Haute for those that asked. The car needs a lot more work than it looks in the pic. Right now it's sitting idle due to issues with a bad brake drum. Can't find one and not sure what the other options are. One of my favorite movies of all time sir!
Remember seeing this car around your hood? i bought it from a guy in your town a few years ago. Now it's in Georgia I think.
