can't say i built this one - it had a full restro many years back - the owner picked the car up when it was done - drove it home & he died - his wife drove it for less than 200 miles - then it went into the garage for many years and the guy i bought it from bought it - he was 77 years old when he bought the car - he got some stuff done that needed fixing after setting for years - he owned the car 6 years and drove it 3 times in 6 years - but he would go out to the barn and fire it up - grease it - change oil - check the air in the tires - kept the gas fresh - he even kept it on a battery tender - he lived on a dirt/gravel road & the barn had a dirt floor - i spotted the car on Craigs - the car really looked ugly when i first saw it - but everything was there & the power train only had 200 miles on it & from what i could tell the paint was good - the old guy had a firm price on it - i offered him 3 grand less & had the cash with me - he took my offer - i was actually able to drive the car home (25 miles) - all i really had to do was replace a exhaust manifold gasket - starter Bendex - some interior work and get rid of 15 years of dirt - she's all steel - pur's at 45/50 MPH - it turn over to 30,000 miles today - i'm told thats the actual mileage & i think thats a true story - she has juice brakes on 39 Ford drums & 16"wheels - converted to 12 volt (thats why the bendex blew) fun car - thinking about going with white walls but i haven't made up my mind on that yet - tom

Nice ride Tom, thanks for the vid.
Now, blow the fenders off, chop and section the hell out it, stuff a late flattie in it and call it a day. Just kidding. Looks fantatic as is, I'd drive the stuffing out of it.

it gets driven almost every day! around my house if toyz don't get used their gone - no heater but here in N CA we don't get that many real cold days anyway - when the rain stops in the spring we normally don't see a rain drop for months - i'm not running wipers - tom
