Event Coverage Ventura Nats Caravan, Show Pics

The wife and I just got back from an awesome trip to the Ventura Nats and a short drive around the Santa Barbara Wine Country. Had a great time with no problems. Trip went flawlessly.

Alex1954cehvy, Styledaddy and I were supposed to Meet Bad Bob’s caravan along the 5 freeway. We met on time but Bob was running about 15-20 minutes late. As luck would have it CHP came long and kicked us off the shoulder and made us move. We finally met up with Bob in Malibu where a few other joined in.

The drive up was very overcast and a little cold for it being September in CA.

After the party we headed up to Solvang and Los Olivos for a little wine tasting. Did not get a lot of pics, it was kind of barren around there.













Saw a really cool Caddie vert at the first winery we went to.



Don't ask my how this thing hit the shifter that far down and in front but that is where he ended his life.



Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did doing it.

 

Dont know but I think it was an art car or something. It was not my cup of tea.

it was very cool meeting/cruising with you guys this weekend. you and your wife are awesome people. sorry i didnt get to hangout with you guys to much once we got to the show but there will be a next time. cant wait to do it again.

Thanks for the pics. Seems we have similar tastes cause you posted a few of my favorites too, ( including my own). Wine tasting up in Solvang after the show sounds like a great way to end the day. May have to do that next year.

Great shots, takes me back to when I lived in Santa Barbara. That whole area is just magic and I miss it every day. Love the cravan pix, nothin more fun that that. Your RPU is way hip, thanx kids. ~Sololobo~

 

makes me want to move westward.

 

That single seat polished aluminum creation in the last pic was totally unique, full of back-in-the-day rivets, seemed to be like a surplus belly tank but not, had lots of added antique brass hardware, highly creative design and fine craftsmanship.
