Van-atics!!!

    bought a 69 Econoline E-100 from a 1-time owner. would love some pointers. I'm new to the 'van' thing and want to learn everything. thanks in advance.
     
  2. how about an Introduction dealing with yourself. For guidance, why not read the Sticky and make a proper Introduction, so we can get better acquainted. Good Luck with your Van.

    This is something I have in my head that I want to build. I found the perfect van for the project too, but I worked up this photochop to kind of put it into perspective. Have yet to see one like it. I was thinking of transferring it to a chevy frame to make bagging it a little easier, but swapping over the 302 and c-4 for Fords sake. The E-100's have that god awful I beam suspension that cost more to lower then it's worth. That is why I would even consider the chevy suspension in the first place.

  4. My buddy put a late 60s Ford truck on a Camaro front clip and rear axle, keeping the Chevy engine and trans; sat low, rode and drove great.

    Yeah I couldn't do the chevy motor thing in any of my fords. That might be for some people, just not me. Hell I give my own brother crap for running a buick in his 50 ford.
