how about an Introduction dealing with yourself. For guidance, why not read the Sticky and make a proper Introduction, so we can get better acquainted. Good Luck with your Van. firstnomad www.angelfire.com/jazz/flatlandstudio
This is something I have in my head that I want to build. I found the perfect van for the project too, but I worked up this photochop to kind of put it into perspective. Have yet to see one like it. I was thinking of transferring it to a chevy frame to make bagging it a little easier, but swapping over the 302 and c-4 for Fords sake. The E-100's have that god awful I beam suspension that cost more to lower then it's worth. That is why I would even consider the chevy suspension in the first place.
My buddy put a late 60s Ford truck on a Camaro front clip and rear axle, keeping the Chevy engine and trans; sat low, rode and drove great.
Yeah I couldn't do the chevy motor thing in any of my fords. That might be for some people, just not me. Hell I give my own brother crap for running a buick in his 50 ford.
