Finally just joined after putting it off way too long. I live near the Dallas Ft Worth metro (an hour south) and was reminded about HAMB while talking to a buddy of mine at a show he was playing at. He was telling me another member of his car club ( the Chupacabras) had just traded his p/u for a bucket through the HAMB. That sent bells off in my head of all the times I was going to join and didn't, so I said what the hell, Ain't it about time! Cars I own include a 64 Falcon Hardtop in a thousand pieces with a blown small block on the stand next to it (thinking straight axle gasser look) and a 59 Studebaker Lark 2dr Wagon in poor original condition which belonged to my Grandfather who was more of a traditionalist that a hotrodder. Not sure what I'll ever do with it, just cant bring myself to part with it. Maybe a full custom surf wagon or....I'll try to post some pics soon. Glad to be here..... Finally! Texasgreazer
Welcome TG! Sounds like you got some cool projects in work. Whos your buddy in the Chups? Hope to see ya around, Ed Chupacabras CC

Alright BoomBoom Short term memory aside, your a good guy.Your that Buddy man. Remember we talked at the show with the Atomic Fiends. You told me about Bubba trading his truck off.
Welcome, there's a lot of Texans on here. I have a '65 Falcon hardtop in a bunch of pieces. It is going to be a straight axle car, too.
No kiddin, small world huh? Is any of your family still around there, how long ago. With less than 1000 people I probably know anyone whos lived there in the last 20 years. TG
Itasca is on 35W about an hour south of Ft Worth, a few miles north of where I35 splits into 35E and 35W in Hillsboro.
Welcome from not quite Texas...I'm a Gasser freak, and have always had a soft spot in my head for those Falcons - I had one, and a buddy of mine has one with a BBC/4-speed, axle, and Cragars that always makes me grin. Hope to see yours soon...Got any older tin???
