Great pics, as usual, Bob. Thanks again for sharing. BTW, why haven't we seen more Willy's as taildraggers. I just know that there has to be one out there. Sorry for hi-jacking.

We drove into Wendover and cruised around and I got some shots of the old Air Base...

Dennis and Paul decided to just drive the rest of the way home, instead of staying in Vegas,so we got in Thursday night.

It was a trip of a lifetime! I'm definitely going from now on! Big thanks to Tall Paul and Dennis for putting up with me. It was great meeting all the HAMBers, from New Zealand,Australia,England,Utah,Minnesota,Northern Cal,Bean Bandits,Old Crow Team,Elmo Rodge,Kaui and Chick their team,Vaphead,Hot Rod Packard,Kiwi Tinbender,JustinB,Spinout,Tom Branch, and anybody else, which I can't remember right now...
Hope you guys enjoyed my experience from Bonneville. It won't be my last...

    I'll be driving the truck!
The top speed of the meet was Poteet,417MPH,in the Speed Demon. That was as of Thursday. Don't know if anybody topped that after we left.

Don't worry about the salt, it doesn't cause rust........it causes fast cars!

The best Bonneville thread EVER! Thanks Bob for taking the time (a LOT of time) to post all the pics! I saw a lot of people that I know that were there, except for me! Maybe next year I can make it back out to the salt agan.!

Thanks alot! I appreciate that. I hate it when I go to an event and when I get back home and post my pic's,I hear..." I was there and didn't see you!" That ****s! I find out later how many HAMBers were there and I didn't get to say HI and meet them. I did meet LOTS of them though.
Glad to hear you liked my coverage...

With all these whiners I kept thinking "maybe this other thread was better." Nope, doesn't even compare. The time you took, the detail, the awesomeness. You made me feel like I was there, kinda, and since I have never been and it is a dream... thanks. I have to say that all of your coverages' are the best and the time you put in is like no one else. The funny thing was that shifter with the fishnet leg, I thought to myself "he found the only fishnet out there, it was there and he sniffed it out! Haha." Thank you again and have an awesome day! :D

P.S. do you ever take the "bad bob" sled up there? If so, do you race it?!

Hahahhaaa...I was just joshin you man. Don't take it so hard...:D

Truth is, I was too busy and stuck up to go say hi myself. When stuff is broke I gotta know why and see if it can be fixed. Call it a character flaw..

Good to see you out there and these are great pictures. Where are the rest of the 1300 you promised us?:)

NO NO NO! I wasn't upset about what you said. I was stating that I miss meeting so many people. I find out that HAMBers were there that I didn't run into.

    WOW,
My finger has a blister on it from scrolling through all these Great Pictures.
When I saw what you were doing with your camera while we were out there, I just kept mine in my pocket all week.
Thanks for doing such a great job with the camera, and around the campsite. Your welcome to come with us again next year. but you have to get that chain fixed on your vintage Schwinn bike so we don't have to walk to the toilets. HAHA
Thanks for a fun trip, Talk to you soon, Dennis
