Im having a bit of trouble with my 331. When the car is cold, it runs like a dream. No issues what so ever. But after a while when the temp reaches 160, it starts running rough. Like its missing badly. Any suggestions? It seems like its electrical.

the coil is inside the car. not near the engine. Im thinking maybe its condensor or points. Maybe needs new wires. I checked the chokes....one was stuck.

  6. Does it have a flapper valve for an exhaust crossover? Make sure that's not stuck.

In the more bizzarre department, my daily was misfiring for weeks and I could not figure it out until I finally tightened up the exhaust so it was super quiet - and I could hear plug wires arcing out. The new ones I'd put on.... they were leaking through the boots at the plugs on a few cylinders, apparently had some small cracks that would only leak when the engine was hot and everything expanded a bit. Being a Chevy, you couldn't see down in where they were sparking off easily. So it's worth checking those out, too, I know on a Hemi it's even worse, if they're arcing inside the tubes in the valve cover you'll never see it.
