That last pic looks like it compressed wrong.... Wanna email me that and I'll fix it for ya NADS? speedaddict@sbcglobal.net What color is that?
OOps no picture. Man I'm having trouble. Here's the post paint boozing. I'd post more pictures but I'm having trouble. The car's nowhere near done, the top and the sides have to be flaked. Everything has to be cleared and rubbed out. It won't be on the road for at least a month.
It's a custom color I had mixed to match the vintage metalflake I have, there's no name or number for it. Sorry about the ****py picturs, I'm still learning.
Nads, Looking DAMN GOOD man! I love the color! Lotsa work there, but it's worth all of it..even the pain in the *** sanding! Thanks for posting the pics, and i can't wait to see it done. Tony
****py pics or not, that color looks awesome. I very partial to purple. The car looks like it's coming along great, Nads! Congrats. Joel
Nads, that really looks cool. All those long hours of bodywork &sanding are paying off. I've been looking forward to seeing it done. Billy
Wow, that's really purple. I dig it. The Chev's coming out really nice, Nads. I still remember when you cut out the old backlight and I was sitting there thinking, "Howda**** are they going to make that other one go in?" You guys (DLMike, GrinderBob, etc.) did a great job coaxing it into place. I learned much that day, and I'll never forget it. See you soon (this weekend's swap or next weekend at the show). Ya'll better watch out... One of the Tampons has a running, driving car now. Who knows what will happen next?
Thanks for the kind words, I hope it comes out good. I'm glad I've got Sean helping me out, he knows this modern ****, there's no way I could do this myself. We're coming back on Sunday to do a full days work. It might be in flake and clear by next week. Skate Fink, I'm really thinking about putting some big mural on the trunk, but I don't know what I want. I'd like to give the car a name too, just like the '50s 'bro, but I'm plum out of ideas.
right on nads, its looking real good. did you have to do any last minute sanding when it went in to the booth? When are you doing the flake? want some extra help? me and dan could come down if you need a hand...
damn Nads, that KICKS ***. I've always wanted a 54 chevy. I'm glad you're taking the time to do it right. where in Florida are you again?
Orlando. Hey Keith we're hitting for Sunday, starting early, I could use some hands but don't go outta your way. BTW, this isn't being painted in a booth, it's just a garage.
