Hello, I was wondering if someone might know of a shipping company I could get to deliver a cadillac 346 flathead I just bought. Never tried to ship anything like this before, and would appreciate any source.
Trying to ship from louisana to alabama, if that info helps.

Then, all I gotta do is strip it down and hope the block is good!
thanks, y'all have a good day, Keith

I always use Craters and Freighters. We've had very good luck with them, but they're not cheap. It'll be less expensive if they pick it up and drop it off at commercial addresses with loading docks.

I have used enginesdirect three times in the last year. One from Florida one from California one from Ohio all delivered and the last one was door to door. None over $250. The last included the tramsmission.

thanks for the site, already been checking it out after reading your build thread.
How did you modify your intake for a triple deuce? That looked like a nice setup.

    Keith,

I added bases to the ends, then had it Cermachromed. Here's some pics to give you an idea.

Tman, their not to bad to ship with Engines Direct. The most expensive one I shipped was from Florida to Colorado for $260.

Heavy- Oh Yea! Bare block weighs 296lbs, and an engine, with no bellhousing is right a 900lbs

  10. thats cheap, good shipper to know!
